“EVERYCARE IS MY EVERYTHING” as reported by ITV News

“EVERYCARE IS MY EVERYTHING” …. a quote from a service user at our East Surrey branch when interviewed by ITV yesterday.

Whilst the quote wasn’t actually broadcast the client confirmed in the report  how much she appreciated the Everycare support stating “Please don’t say they are never going to come”. It is heartening to know in such difficult times we are still here making a difference to the lives of so many.

Covid report ITV news EverycareGill worked really hard with her team and spent over three hours filming yesterday, so it was naturally a little disappointing that they showed so little of the piece. None the less there has already been positive feedback to the Everycare office this morning as people recognized the team.

Gill said she didn’t want to be personally famous but she did want Everycare to be famous. Isn’t that just the unique team spirit of Everycare!

Little by little the service users that decided to cancel care because of the perceived risks of having contact with care staff are returning. The strain and pressure on relatives and friends is starting to show and some just can not cope any longer without help.

Although the risks of contracting Covid 19 in care homes has been much publicised the actual incidence of the illness in users of community care services has been extremely low.

We are very confident that all our service users can rely on our extreme diligence in taking every possible precaution when delivering any form of care and can be confident that our help is only a phone call away if we are needed.

Surrey Care Awards 2018 – 9th November 2018 Epsom Racecourse

Everycare Central Surrey was very proud to be nominated and make the finalist short list for Surrey Care Provider of the Year 2018.

We were up against some stiff competition and were unfortunately pipped at the post, but the recognition of the amazing work that we do is a huge achievement in itself.

It also gave our senior team an opportunity to put their glad rags on.  It was a wonderful evening hearing about all the fantastic work that goes on in our community and our own Faye Morrow, who is our in-house Dementia care champion, had the honour of presenting an award for “Excellence in Delivering Dementia Care”.  We will be back next year!

2018 Christmas Party – It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas!!!

Kicking off the festive season, Everycare Central Surrey enjoyed too many pigs in blankets and mince pies.  It was so lovely to see so many people (from 13 months to 102 years old)!  Christmas hats and Christmas jumpers were out in full force.  Even a dancing, singing hat made a special appearance.

Thank you so much for everyone’s help preparing for the party and during the party.  It was very much appreciated.  We would like to say a special thank you to Paula Wickens, our very own cake baking queen, who made over 40 Christmas cakes for all our clients.

Thank you to all our clients and staff for making Everycare Central Surrey such a wonderful company.

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

6th Year Anniversary Coffee Morning

It was so wonderful to see so many familiar and new faces helping us celebrate our 6th Anniversary at Merrow Hall on 12th September 2018.  The company started back in 2012 with the aim of delivering exceptional care to her local community. 6 years on, we have grown to over 30 employees and owe our success to our amazing team of people who work so hard behind the scenes and directly with our fabulous clients.

We are extremely grateful for all the support and loyalty they give us.

And thank you so much to everyone who contributed to making the event itself so successful, by baking cakes, helping serve drinks and picking up clients, who would otherwise have not been able to attend.

I think we are still suffering the effects of the amount of cakes that were consumed, but hope to have many more events like this in the future. Thank you again to everyone involved!
