Everycare (Central Surrey) encourages local children to be involved in the Guildford Cricket Club.

central surrey children's cricketEverycare (Central Surrey) has recently sponsored Guildford Cricket Club which has been in existence for 150 years. Many of our older clients remember it in their youth and still enjoy watching cricket, though more often on their televisions rather than actually going to the cricket games.

The Guildford Cricket Club holds the ‘Guildford Cricket Festival’ every summer and is the only ground in Surrey at which first class cricket is played annually. Everycare is proud to encourage this great community facility and to help the Cricket Club to encourage the young people of Guildford to be active in this sport.

Pauline Herring walks tall in fire feat supporting local Oakleaf mental health charity

central surrey everycare mental health charity supportPauline Herring (Owner at Everycare Central Surrey) went on a sponsored ‘Fire-walk’ for the Guildford based Oakleaf Mental Health charity which supports people with mental health challenges in Guildford and the surrounding area within Surrey. This event happened on 10th October, World Mental Health Day at Oakleaf’s premises in Guildford.

Planning for your Long Term Care

On Tuesday 10th April 2014 Pauline Herring the owner of Everycare Central Surrey was invited to speak at two “End of Life” planning seminars which took place at Clandon Wood, Natural Burial Site in Guildford.Nigel and Pauline Herring Everycare Central Surrey

People from all walks of life were invited to listen to more than a dozen experts who would show them how easy it could be to plan for their future long-term care. As a speaker, Pauline talked about domiciliary care and the advantages for people who wanted to remain in their own homes whilst also comparing costs with care homes. Other speakers spoke about investments, wills, funerals etc.

It was a successful and informative day for all concerned with over 60 attendees who were all able to talk and ask questions in a non-formal or pressurised way in the beautiful setting of Clandon Wood.
